Historian The historian assembles and preserves the record of activities and achievements of the PTA and assists the president in preparing the Annual Report. Historian's records, like minutes and ledgers, should be kept forever. A copy of the PTA charter as well as any other legal documents should be kept with the historian’s records. The historian is in charge of computing volunteer hours as well as keeping photographic records of special activities. The historian also should keep a list of officers and a record of recipients of special awards and recognition. The historian, along with the president, is in charge of completing the Annual Report to send to either the Council (to be forwarded to District) or directly to the District if there is no Council. Annual Reports are due to the Peralta District historian in May. Please share your successes with us!
